Description
A limited series in natural clay by Rufoli to commemorate the notarial deed of 1479 signed by our ancestor Carlo De Martino preserved into the archives of Cava de’ Tirreni Abbey. The set consists of 4 espresso cups with matching saucers, lids, and a tray. All elements are hand-turned and decorated with the four traditional colors, plus manganese, using the staked technique. The design of the tray recalls a Byzantine-style decoration of the ‘700. Inside it, houses have been obtained to accommodate the saucer while the bottom remains in visible raw terracotta.
